We all know the struggle. Busy schedules, tight budgets, and the constant question: "What's for dinner?" Often, the answer is something quick and convenient, but not exactly nourishing. But what if you could have a delicious, healthy meal on the table without breaking the bank, all while making a positive impact on your health, your wallet, and the world?

Blackpool, a seaside town known for its charm, unfortunately struggles with significant deprivation and poverty. Statistics paint a concerning picture:

*High Child Poverty: A staggering 24.9% of children under 16 in Blackpool live in relative low-income families, meaning their household income falls below 60% of the national median after housing costs ([Blackpool Council, Appendix 2b]). This translates to roughly 6,522 children facing financial hardship.

*Deprivation Hotspot: Blackpool ranks as the 6th most deprived local authority area in the UK, with 41.5% of its areas classified as deprived based on factors like income, employment, and health ([Blackpool JSNA, Deprivation]).

*Blackpool (20.9%), in the Lancashire-14 area, has the largest proportion of its working age population employment deprived in England, and the third largest percentage income deprived (24.7%). Blackpool has the largest number of people employment deprived and income deprived in the Lancashire-14 area.

These figures highlight a pressing need for solutions that address the financial strain on families and the resulting impact on their well-being. Here's where a service offering affordable, nutritious food and educational resources can make a real difference.
